Blake Fallaw threw a gem on Saturday for Wando, allowing zero runs and besting Cane Bay High School by a score of 15-0
The Warriors got things moving in the first inning. John Bagwell’s sac fly scored one run for Wando.
Wando put up seven runs in the fourth inning. Landon Tuel, Jimmy Webb, Matt Slesinski, Luke Farrell, and Taylor Hall powered the big inning with RBIs.
One bright spot for Cane Bay High School was a single by Avery in the fourth inning.
Fallaw was the winning pitcher for the Warriors. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out five.
Laffey took the loss for Cane Bay High School. He lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and six runs while striking out six and walking one.
Wando racked up 11 hits in the game. Landon Tuel and Dylan Baker all managed multiple hits. Tuel led Wando with three hits in three at bats.
Avery went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Cane Bay High School in hits.
